History
Haishan is an immense sea monster, presumably both a dragon and a fish, who lives in the high seas of Liyue. It's capable of raising waves dozens of meters high with ease and most sailors meet it sooner or later. Beidou challenges the creature many times during her life.[1]
After assailing the leviathan with cannons, harpoons, arrows and ropes for four days the Crux is finally able to tie it down. Beidou battles the creature for ten hours, waiting for the right time to strike. At the crack of dawn, having neither eaten nor drank throughout the night, Beidou chops Haishan's head clean off with one almighty strike.[1]
