This is a story of a Pioneer from the Previous Era tasked with observing other worlds using the Second Divine Key and a Valkyrie from the Current Era considered to be the key to the solution of defeating the Honkai.

Second Key's Chinese title literally translates to "an inheritance".
The 1st chapter's CN title 泡影 means "bubble and shadow" in Buddhism referring to "transience". Literally, it means "soap bubble".^{[Note 2]}
The 2nd chapter's title refers to the name of the bubble universe created by Su using the 2nd Divine Key's power.
- 须弥芥子 comes from 须弥 (Sumeru), the central world-mountain in Buddhist cosmology and 芥子 (mustard seed) which is used by esoteric sects as a symbol for overcoming illusions and demons.^{[Note 3]}
The 3rd chapter's CN title 因果转轮 can be translated to "Karma Wheels" which refers to Su's ability.
The 4th's CN title is only 病. EN added "Duhkha", commonly translated to "suffering", which is an important concept in Buddhism embodying diverse aspects of unpleasant human experiences.
The 6th chapter's CN title is 众生 referring to "all living things" or "sattva" in Buddhism. Su's 7th recollection, Rumor: Dharmakāya uses the character 法身 which is the translation for the Buddhist word itself.
- In Buddhism, sattva means "a living being, creature, person or sentient being". In Hindu philosophy, it's a philosophical and psychological concept referring to the quality of goodness that is drawn towards Dharma and Jnana.
- Dharmakaya is used to describe a metaphorical body that embodies all of the Buddha's good qualities.
The 8th chapter's EN title may refer to "Eighth Herrscher". Additionally, its CN title 它 shares the same title for Su's 2nd recollection, It.
The 10th chapter's EN title Sambhogakaya refers to the Buddhist term described as the celestial body of the Buddha to which contemplation can ascend.

↑ I actually don't know where the name The Conscious came from. Need second opinion on this. Adding my own interpretation:
Su used the word 死后 (after death) which I don't think is uncommon. There's a few Buddhist-related phrases here. Based here, I can draw two references for interpretation: (1) The Tathāgata exists after death and (2) a Buddha who is neither existent nor non-existent after passing into peace

For (1): Tathāgata is a term that is said to be used by Gautama Buddha when referring to himself or other Buddhas. This is also interpreted as signifying that the Tathāgata is beyond all coming and going – beyond all transitory phenomena. Tathāgata is defined as someone who "knows and sees reality as-it-is" (yathā bhūta ñāna dassana). Su arrived at a place where an unknown voice who seemed to know about the universal truth that governs the Honkai. The same voice mentioned that they had not met a human for eons and can be interpreted as a higher form of being.

For (2): It may also be referring to Su who's considered "an enlightened one". His Remembrance Vessel being named Buddha's Memory may support it. Su was expecting death but arrives at unknown place that seems to be neither life nor death.

For all I've said, the point is, do we continue to call it, The Conscious?

Need confirmation of what to do with the following characters:
- Ragna was in place for Chief Physician Fall.
- Kallen Kaslana and presumably Theresa Apocalypse were in place for Professor Spiers' (whom is in the form of Otto Apocalypse) wife and daughter.
- Do Bianka as Su, Rita as Kevin, Otto as Professor Spiers---all three being existing characters of their own in the manga---warrant their own page?
Seed of Sumeru (B3-SS-A) refers to the bubble universe where Su and Kevin fought which later became Kevin's prison.
Seed of Sumeru (B3-SS-B) refers to the bubble universe where Su and Bianka fought and where Su spent his last moments.
Seed of Sumeru (B3-SS-C) refers to the bubble universe that Su gave to Bianka.
